Goldie Ghamari is the Ontario PC candidate for Carleton.
As an international trade and business lawyer, as well as a small business owner herself, Goldie understands the challenges faced by businesses of all sizes, from the aspiring entrepreneur working at home, the family-run farm and the mom-and-pop shops - all the way to international corporations aspiring to open up offices and create jobs in Ontario.
Active in community affairs and volunteerism, Goldie was intimately involved in the leadership of the Women’s Business Network of Ottawa and the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization. She is a strong advocate for empowering and supporting young women and has volunteered as a guest speaker and mentor with both Head Start Ottawa and Equal Voice Canada.
Goldie and her family immigrated to Canada from Iran in 1986 because they believed Canada would provide them with a better life and opportunities. She wants to use her experiences and life lessons to ensure that all families in Carleton pay less and get ahead.
Goldie’s parents taught her that the road to success comes through hard work and determination. She will bring that same attitude to Queen’s Park as a strong representative for Carleton.
